Privacy Policy

Quotidian for iOS — Last updated July 27, 2026

Quotidian is a simple daily-quote app. This policy explains, plainly, what happens to your data — which is very little.

Short version

Quotidian does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to us or to any third party. There is no account, no analytics, no tracking, and no advertising in the app.

Subscriptions & purchases

Quotidian offers an optional Premium subscription. All payment is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store — Quotidian never sees or stores your card details, billing address, or Apple ID. We only receive confirmation from Apple that a subscription is active, so Premium features can be unlocked on your device. You can view, manage, or cancel your subscription anytime in Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.

What stays on your device

The app saves a small amount of information locally, using Apple's standard on-device storage. None of it ever leaves your phone or is visible to us:

If you delete the app, this data is deleted with it.

Notifications

The optional daily reminder is a local notification scheduled entirely on your device. Nothing about your usage of the app is sent anywhere to make this work.

Links to Bookshop.org

Tapping "Purchase Book" opens a book's page on Bookshop.org in your browser. Once you leave Quotidian, your activity is covered by Bookshop.org's own privacy policy, not this one. We are not able to see or access anything you do there.

Children's privacy

Because Quotidian doesn't collect any data from anyone, it doesn't knowingly collect data from children either.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the update will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
